If you're interested in the bird and wild life of the area, take a slow Nile cruise in a sombook (row boat) or folukas (sail boat), but your better bet is taking a motor boat around the protected reserve islands, like Salouga and Ghazal Islands.
The months of October, November and December, is migration season over the area for an array of birds, on their journey to warmer climate.

Beside the camel or horse trek and safari, why not experience the desert on foot. A walking trek through the desert's calm is a soul healing event!
We provide trips to a natural Jacuzzi. A granite rock pooled areas in the Nile that has been carved out into a naturally made Jacuzzi, with the water jetting through the rocks. So immerse yourself on a hot day and relax your stress away!

For our more extreme guests, there is the Sandboarding on the dunes just behind AnaKato. We provide the sandboards, although being an extreme sport, it'll be at your own liability.
During the hot summer days, don't miss out on the Mango Tree Waterfall Adventure! Jumping of a granite cliff into a waterfall and swimming to the Mango Tree Island. An island that bares nothing but a solitary huge mango tree. You're in paradise, just pick the fruit of the tree and indulge in some serious delicious mango eating!
